The annual competition between Carlisle Camera Club, Penrith Camera Club and Keswick Photographic Society was this year held at Carlisle on February 25th. It was judged by George Ledger, a freelance sports photographer based in Consett.
Each club submitted 15 digital images from 15 different members so that the competition tried to capture the broad range of photographic talent within the three clubs. Each image was scored out of 30 so that 450 points were available to be won by each club.
As has been the custom over recent years Keswick won the event with 356 points. Penrith were second and Carlisle third. Keswick’s winning cohort of images can be viewed on our gallery page:
